The SAP S4 HANA ECC MM Resource is responsible for providing ongoing support and maintenance for the Materials Management (MM) module within the SAP S4 HANA system. This role focuses on resolving user issues, managing system updates, and ensuring the smooth operation of procurement and inventory processes.

Role description

1.Incident Management: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to SAP MM functionalities in S4 HANA, including purchase orders, goods receipts, invoice verification, and inventory management. 2.Change Management: Implement system updates, patches, and new SAP notes related to MM within the S4 HANA environment, ensuring proper testing and validation to minimize disruptions. 3.User Support: Provide technical assistance to end users on navigating and utilizing SAP MM features, answering queries, and addressing day-to-day operational challenges. 4.Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to improve existing MM processes within the S4 HANA system, propose enhancements, and configuration changes to streamline workflows and increase efficiency. 5.Reporting and Analysis: Generate reports and analyze data related to procurement activities, inventory levels, and vendor performance to support business decision-making. 6.Vendor Management: Manage vendor master data, resolve invoice discrepancies, and monitor vendor performance within the SAP MM system. 7.System Monitoring: Proactively monitor the SAP S4 HANA MM system for potential issues, identify performance bottlenecks, and take corrective actions. 8.Collaboration: Work closely with other AMS teams (e.g., Finance, Sales, Production) to ensure seamless integration across SAP modules and business processes.

Required Skills and Experience

• In-depth Knowledge: Strong understanding of SAP MM functionalities and best practices within the S4 HANA environment.
• Procurement and Inventory Management: Experience with procurement, inventory management, and vendor management processes.
• SAP Configuration: Proficiency in SAP configuration, including customizing tables and user roles.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with SAP ABAP debugging and troubleshooting techniques.
• Analytical Skills: Proven ability to analyze complex business issues and provide effective solutions.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with users and stakeholders at various levels.
